The
following is a work of pure fiction intended for Saltwood Cricket Club members

For Saltwood Skipper Billy Crumbie this is going to be the longest day of his life... The Following takes place between the hours of 10.00am and 11.00am on the day of the Saltwood Boot Fair.
10.03 - Lots more visitors appear at the boot fair, but they all claim that they are disabled and must park as close to the stalls as possible. Is this part of the Conspiracy? Minister for Bunting,Tom Rice tells them the walk will do them good.
10.07 - Special Agent Cookie decides to take the law into his own hands. He notices a gap in the roof of the shed. He didn't want to mention it at the time, but now it could be his way out, a chance for salvation. A chance to get his life back, and to get some more tea.
10.10 - Special Agent Oakes wakes up, and feels his head. He looks out of the back window to find out where he is. He can hear voices, one of them sounds like Agent Simmons asking Jo Rice if they have change for a Twenty.
10.11 - Cookie squeezes under the roof, and jumps into the bushes. He twists his ankle, but feels no pain. He scuttles along behind the pavilion.
10.12 - Special Agent Oakes spots Cookie running along the side. He reaches for his phone, the battery is low. He sends a message to somone and lies back against the wall, feeling his head.
10.16 - Special Agent Cookie approaches his house to discover a car speeding off in the distance. He walks up to the door. It is wide open. He steps into his study, to find his window frames chipped and his scorebooks thrown across the floor. He notices that one book is left open on 26th June 1994. He looks down at the page. Steve Ellyatt got 6 for 4 against Woodstock in the KVL.
10.19 - Special Agent Alex Rice explains to John Howland that the Ribeena Toothkind was artifically added to the vomit and that he believes someone intentionally wanted to frame Mark Gamlyn. John Howland asks Special Agent Rice to draw up a list of suspects. Who would want to frame Gamlyn?
10.22 - Special Agent Cookie is tidying up his study when he sees a smiling face at the window. Trusted friend, Special Agent Ken Lewsey waves and indicates that he has his car outside to pick up Cookie. Lewsey heads back to the car.
10.23 - Cookie is about to leave when he spots some writing on the back of the Woodstock scorecard. It has been hurridly written and the ink is still wet. Cookie is annoyed that his scorebook has been defaced, but is shocked to read the message. 'Don't trust Ken. He's dirty.'
10.24 - Cookie doesn't know which way to turn. A car horn beeps as Ken winds down his window and tells Cookie to 'Hurry Up'. Geoff decides that he must act alone. He runs out through the back of his house, and climbs over a fence.
10.27 - Special Agent Ken Lewsey slowly gets out of his car and walks back up to the house. He walks through the door, softly asking if Cookie is ready yet. He walks into the study and realises Cookie has gone. As he turns to leave, he spots the note on the scorecard. He lets out a scream and rushes to his car.
10.32 - Ken is on the phone. He is apologising. He is very defensive, explaining that he will take care of 'Cookie' and that Plan A can still work. He is told he has an hour to fix it.
10.36 - Special Agent Cookie is at Poo Corner. He phones Special Agent Crumbie. He feels he can be trusted. He would never do anything to harm his availability book.
10.38 - Bilial listens to Cookie's story and agrees to help him, provided Cookie will play against Bilsington this afternoon. Cookie was hoping for an afternoon off, but agrees.
10.42 - Special Agent Ken returns to the ground. Crumbie knows he is dangerous. Crumbie goes into the Home Dressing Room to find Special Agent Oakes. He offers Oakes a Bacon Butty, and fills him in on the story. Oakes is appalled, but doesn't know why Ken would want to bring down the Bootfair?
10.45 - Special Agent Ken leaves the ground again.
10.47 - Minister for Bunting Tom Rice and Special Agent Riley are sent off to Club X to look for information on their boot fair. Are they doing good business? Have they got our sign? Crumbie is still convinced that Club X may be behind the operation. (Club X is a fictional cricket club and should not be confused with any other club in the Folkestone area)
10.52 - Shaun Howland sleeps.
10.55 - Cookie makes it to the pub, and asks Crumbie to meet him there.
10.57 - Rice and Riley make it to Club X, as they get out of the car they notice Helen Oakes talking to a bearded man on a plant stall. Why is she visiting a rival boot fair? She looks around nervously and Rice and Riley duck behind an ice cream van. Pip thinks it's terribly bad form of Helen.
10.58 - Special Agent Oakes is still clutching his head in the home Pavilion. He checks his phone. The battery has almost gone. A message comes through. He reads it hurriedly- it informs him that has won a prize worth £400 and that this is the last chance to claim. He deletes the message, and waits.
10.59 - Special Agent Crumbie comes into the pavilion and lets Oakes out. He explains that they need to get to the pub immediately as Cookie is there. He will fill him in on the way.
