After years of negotiations, it looks like Saltwood Cricket Club may finally get its own TV channel. The channel launches on Sky channel 684 (which incidentally is also Gambo's career bowling average) on March 14th. The schedule for the first day is as follows:
4.15pm - Deal or No Deal Fixture secretary Geoff Cooke must decide which fixtures will stay and go for the 2006 season. Will Saltwood play at Deal next season? You can help to decide by voting interactively. Next week: Hawkinge or No Hawkinge.
5.00pm - Lost Alex and Tom Rice attempt to travel to an away ground. In previous series' they have disappeared while trying to get to a golf course, while attempting to make the first tour game and even found themselves in Cornwall when attempting to visit Somerset. Where will they end up this time?
6.00pm - Home and Away A chance to see the highlights from the two Stowting games from 2002.
6.30pm - You Are What You Eat This week Gambo eats a prize turnip.
7.00pm - Ground Force Watch Geoff Cooke and Roy Simmons as they roll the wicket and catch moles.
7.30pm - Lottery Andy Lewsey bowls in the nets
8.00pm - 24 A documentary examining Ian Oakes' fateful over to Rusty on the 2000 tour. Coming soon: 30- a profile of Ian's second over against Brussels .
9.00pm - Crimewatch Can you help us with the disappearance of J? He was last spotted in the Saltwood pavilion in 2002. Will Crumbie, who led the initial investigation (which included a thorough examination of the shower and the changing room seats) will be in the studio to take your calls.
10.00pm - The Farm We catch up with legendary opponent Rusty, as he recalls some of his favourite memories of playing against Ian.
10.30pm - Friday Night with Jonathan Rice Tonight's guests include Hugh Rawlins and Bobby Peacock. Music comes from Mystique and Tom Riley.
11.30pm - The Worst Week of my life Chris South recalls his week on tour, sharing a room with Gambo.
12.00pm - The Jeremy Cowell show The young agony uncle tries to resolve some cricketing disputes. This week- How can that not be out? Will Crumbie comes face to face with an umpire who refused to give him an LBW decision. May contain strong language and dribbling.
